Ms. Dina Sakita has been devoted to the practice of corporate immigration law for 25 years, where she has managed complex and voluminous immigration matters for some of the Silicon Valley’s leading technology giants. She has extensive experience working with government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, USCIS, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of State, and other agencies. Ms. Sakita has expertise with Alien Labor Certifications, Nonimmigrant Work Visas, Immigrant Visas, U.S. Permanent Residency, and U.S. Citizenship/Naturalization, as well as extensive expertise with corporate compliance and strategic planning in all aspects of business immigration law including corporate restructuring and audit compliance. Ms. Sakita began her legal career as a Tax Associate with Ernst & Young LP’s Personal Financial Counseling Group, where she engaged in complex tax consulting exclusively to high net worth individuals.

Ms. Sakita previously served on the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Immigration Court Pro Bono Panel, where she assisted unrepresented Respondents’ during their Master Calendar Hearings. From 2017 to 2024, she served as a Pro Bono Volunteer Attorney with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), where she represented unaccompanied minors seeking SIJS (Special Immigrant Juvenile Status) and asylum status. She has served as a Volunteer attorney for a variety of matters, including victims of domestic violence and other crimes, as well as DACA recipients. Ms. Sakita was a speaker at local colleges and universities, where she lectured on post-completion immigration options for F-1 students.

In her free time, Ms. Sakita enjoys spending time with her keiki and practicing 
ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, the indigenous language of, and official language of Hawaiʻi.
